• Description

 

Site of attachment for various forearm muscles and tendons, including the:

 

- Flexor carpi radialis,

- Pronator teres, and

- Palmaris longus

 

• Treatment Considerations

 

Use caution and avoid direct pressure, deep or aggressive techniques on the medial epicondyle.

 

It can be sensitive and prone to inflammation in conditions like medial epicondylitis (golfer's elbow).

 

Gentle and superficial techniques may be used with care
